Indian Ambassador visits Sohar University

On Thursday morning 25 October 2018, Sohar University received H.E Munu Mahawar, India's ambassador to the Sultanate. During the visit, he met with Dr. Hamdan Sulaiman Al-Fazari, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Resources, Professor Hamza Idris, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdallah Al-Maqbali, Pro. Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs & Engagement and Dr. Ghassan al-Kindi, Pro. Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation.
The Ambassador also met with a number of academics of Indian nationality who work at the University. During the visit, means of cooperation between the university and the Indian embassy were discussed, especially that the university includes a number of students and employees of Indian nationality.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Ambassador visited the Learning Resources Center at the University to view the services provided to students and also visited some of the campus facilities such as engineering laboratories and others.
