Registration
Registry services cover a wide range of functions from registration through to graduation and we aim to provide the highest possible levels of service to students and staff, within the resources available.
Conversion from another Educational institution
Sohar University accepts students transferring from other universities and colleges after evaluating their previous courses and comparing their courses to the courses Sohar University offers. Applicants should provide all necessary
documents from his/her previous colleges or university. This includes course descriptions, scripts, credit hours, results and certificate of good conduct .
Add/ Drop courses
New students who wish to change their initial registration may submit a request to add /drop a course, during a period of two weeks from commencing academic study. The student must complete an add /drop form at Students Administration (Registration & Admissions).

For existing students the request to add / drop courses must be submitted to Student Administration following the  approval of an Academic Advisor.

Following the two-week add / drop Student Administration will not accept any forms except in special cases which must have to approval from the tutor of the courses and the Faculty Dean.
