Is there an application fee? |
| ANSWER |
Yes. The application fee or enrolment fee is 50 RO (non refundable). There is also a deposit fee of 100 RO (to be refunded after graduation). |

Do you have discounts for handicapped students? |
| ANSWER |
Yes. Handicapped students will be entitled to 50% discount on tuition fees upon their admission to the University. A certificate issued by the Ministry of Health will be a requirement for consideration of the handicapped discount. |

Do you have discounts for low-income students? |
| ANSWER |
Yes. They are eligible for discount of up to 25%. If the student’s family live on social security or receive less than 200OMR per month they will be eligible. A maximum of 10 students per semester will be allowed under the scheme. |

What support services are available for people with disabilities? |
| ANSWER |
We have wheelchairs, elevators designated for them, toilets and ramps; for blind students there is a social worker to help them with their exams. |

Are there any on-campus activities? |
| ANSWER |
Yes, football, table tennis, art works such as painting and drawing and also a student theatre group. See Student Handbook |

Do you have an active student council? |
| ANSWER |
Yes. It is a group of students representing their colleagues at the University. The head or the president of the council is chosen by all students through the voting process. Students choose their student groups that comprise the student council through the voting process. Students at the council can share and communicate with their ideas, suggestions, proposals, initiatives and concerns in the council. See Student Handbook |

Do you provide student accommodation? |
| ANSWER |
Yes. Female accommodation is provided on-campus for approximately 1000 students. The University’s expansion plan will provide for another 1000 female students. Rented buildings for male and female students are also available in the surrounding area. There are well established regulations for all student accommodation. |
