Every year, Sohar University makes sure that end of school semester will  always be a memorable one for all students. During this time, the University hosts a lot of various students activities.  One remarkable activity is the Final Football match between the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

In this match, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences brought home the prestigious cup for winning the final match. The league started last April 24, 2010, and a total of 16 teams participated in this sports event.

Important to note the most valuable players of the game, Mr. Talal al Hadidi who made a fantastic play of the night, with total of 9 goals in one match. Also, equally significant to note is the contribution of Goal keeper that made the team “bring home the bacon” .
The sports event is annually sponsored by the Students Administration headed by Dr. Dawood Al Hamdani.
