The University has a number of male residences located in the vicinity of the University campus or the city of Sohar, with the closest residence less than one kilometre from the campus. The majority of the rooms in each residence are available on a share-room basis, but there are also a limited number of single rooms which can be provided at an additional cost to the standard accommodation fee. The male residences have guards and supervisors on the premises after hours.
The University also has several female residences on campus with space available predominantly on a shared-room basis. The rooms are arranged in apartment groups of 5 to 6 students with each apartment group having its own common room area, bathroom and self-catering facilities.
For all residences, supply and laundering of room linen, weekly cleaning of common entrances, stairways and other communal areas, and all light, water and air-conditioning costs are included in the standard accommodation fees.
Accommodation fees are additional to the academic fees and transportation charges, and are published in the schedule to the fees regulations prior to the commencement of each academic year. |

The acquisition of explosives and flammable materials, poisonous or any kind of weapons is not allowed. |

If you suffer from illnesses requiring special care, you should inform the warden and bring proof of this. |

Wearing the veil is prohibited inside the hostel and inside the university campus. |

You will be present in the hostel by exactly 6:00 pm each evening. |

The warden must be notified when you wish to use incense or frankincense. |
