Prof.Hamza EdreesFew people can boast the wealth of academic and administrative experience accrued at Sohar University by Professor Hamza.
Professor Hamza joined the Faculty of Sohar University in 2003, following a research tenure at Strathclyde University, and has served bas Acting Vice Chancellor and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology. However, it is his Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering which, perhaps, has been his stand-out achievement: today, the Faculty offers Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programmes in Civil, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering, and, as of 2016, in a programme of studies unique to Sohar University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering.
Professor Hamza is now Sohar University’s Pro Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and, currently, is bringing his administrative expertise to the post of Dean of Quality Assurance.
